Katanas On The Web

The following links are to other sites that pay tribute to the Katana.

[ Target Design ] This is the company that is responsible for the design of the Katana. Little did Suzuki or Target Design have any idea when the Katana was released that it would be the standard by which all other sportbikes would be designed after. The Katana brought us the sportbikes of today. Though Target Design's website is in German, you can still view the images on their site to get an idea of what they are about. As a side note, I received an e-mail from Target Design complimenting this site about the Katana, to all the staff of Target Design, I THANK YOU!

[ The Katana Web ] This website is for the purist. Here you will find information regarding the Katana as it was released in the UK and Europe. As I stated in my history page, this is the site which provides details about the models displacing less than a Litre.

[ Katana Specials ] This website is for those who think a stock Katana is not enough. If you wish to see and read about some hot rod Kats, this is the website to visit.

[ GS Resources ] This site is dedicated to all Suzuki GS models, which happens to include the best models ever, the GS1000SZ and GS1100SD Katanas. If you are a GS owner or are just interested in the GS series, this is the place to go!

[ Robby's Streetfighter Page ] Here is a site with quite a variety of modified motorcycles, including some Katanas. There is one picture in particular of a Kat that really was eyecatching........the owner had stuffed a GSX-R1100 motor into it! Rob also has a small but excellent photo gallery of helmets with custom paint jobs, check'em out.

[ Tom and his Katana 1000 ] In this site you will find Tom talking about his stock 82 GSX1000SZ Katana. For those of you out there who aren't informed........Suzuki did make a Katana 1000. Sure wish I had one just to make morons who think they know it all eat their words. Anyway, this site is still fresh (the HTML still smells new) but we can watch it grow as Tom expands on it.

[ Brent tells of his 1100 Kat ] Here is another enthusiast of the most collectible Suzuki model ever made. Like myself, Brent dreamed of someday owning a Katana and that day occurred for him in the early part of 1998. Stop by his site to see photos of his ride and how he came across his dream.

[ A German site of the Katana ] Here is a German language site about the Katana. According to an e-mail I received from someone in Germany, this site is owned by Thomas Seeler. He shares with his audience more history of the Katana, gives references to reports in German magazines (MOTORRAD, PS), informs about regular Katana meetings in Germany and has a classified section.

[ Another German site of the Katana ] This German page offers help for maintenance, tuning and restoration. The author plans to provide a way for Katana owners to contact each other as well as provide a classified section.
